A project of not taking or being in photographs for the entire duration of being 22 years old: from the 20th of September 2020 to the 19th of September 2021.

Ironically, the hard drive I was using to store many of the files reflecting on this project broke in the spring of 2022. This meant I was left with very little documentation of my response to the project ending, not by intention but by technological failure. The files you see on this page are all that remain.

I'm currently working on a text exploring the ideas behind this project and my general experience of it, as well as how I feel about photography now. The preliminary stages of this text are available upon request, just email me at sonya.woodruff.art@gmail.com
